2026 Old Avalon Junior Golf Program
Our 2026 junior golf program will begin in June for its eighth consecutive year. Junior golf at Old Avalon has grown every year, introducing the game to young boys and girls who want to play.
Our program is best suited for beginners but those with experience are welcome to join. Many of our participants have now moved on to play for their local high school golf teams. We instruct how to play the game, proper etiquette on the golf course, honesty, and good sportsmanship.
The 6-9 and the 10-13 age groups will each have one session on a morning to be determined. The program will run for five consecutive weeks beginning in mid-June. Each session will be limited to 25 kids.

Old Avalon Golf Course is participating in the 2026 PGA Jr. League season and we’d like to have you on our team! PGA Jr. League is a fun and welcoming way for kids to learn and play golf. The entire family can also enjoy the team environment of the program at the same time.

How does PGA Jr. League work?
PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development.
