2024 Junior Golf Program
Our 2024 junior golf program will begin in mid-June for its sixth year. Junior golf at Old Avalon has grown every year, introducing the game to young boys and girls who want to learn to play. Our program is great for beginners as well as those who have experience playing the game. Many of our participants have now moved on to playing for their local high school golf teams.
Not only does our program instruct young participants on how to play the game, it teaches proper etiquette on the golf course, honesty, and good sportsmanship.
The program this year will be on Tuesday mornings with two separate age groups running for five consecutive weeks. Each age group, 6-9 and 10-13, will be limited to 25 kids.

Old Avalon Golf Course is participating in the PGA Jr. League season and we’d like to have you on our team! PGA Jr. League is a fun and welcoming way for kids to learn and play golf. The entire family can also enjoy the team environment of the program at the same time.

How does PGA Jr. League work?
PGA Jr. League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of games against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill and character development.
