Our promotions for fall 2024 are listed below to pay less for golf in October and November. We’re also adding Toys for Tots today through early December. Bring in an unwrapped toy and we’ll take $1 off for 9 holes and $2 for 18. Our food drive benefits the Bolindale Food Pantry.

With the great weather expected over the next few days, we decided to postpone greens aerification until Wednesday October 23rd and Thursday the 24th to enable our customers to enjoy the great condition of our putting surfaces a few extra days. Nine holes will be open each morning with all 18 open by 1:30PM.

We had sent an email to all of our subscribers this morning that we would begin greens aerification Wednesday. With the wet weather expected today, we are pushing back aerification until Monday October 21st and Tuesday October 22nd. Nine holes will be done each day. With nice weather expected this weekend, enjoy our great greens one more weekend at our new fall rates as well!

Our off-season golf rates begin tomorrow October 14th. Our fall weekday rate will be the same rate on the weekend! Senior rates will now apply on weekends as well. There’s still great golfing weather ahead this fall.

Due to the rain today and tomorrow, greens aerification will now begin Wednesday morning weather permitting. The front 9 will be completed Wednesday. The back 9 will be done on Thursday. Nine holes will be open each day until approximately 1:30PM. All 18 holes will then be open after 1:30PM.

Old Avalon will be aerifying greens on Monday October 14th and Tuesday October 15th.
Aerification is a necessary process to make our greens even better!
Some benefits of aerating greens include: relieves compaction, improves drainage, promotes root growth, creates a firm and smooth surface, helps excess water evaporate.
We take pride in maintaining our course and ensuring it’s up to par for the best play.
