The new operating group led by Scott Karabin has done an excellent job of returning “Old Avalon” to the condition it once was. The experience provided by Jack Hutchinson and Frank Karlovic has been invaluable. Considering this is the first “full” year under the new group I look forward to seeing the improvements in the coming years. Unfortunately the sprinkler system for the fairways are not operational and the fairways are becoming dead. Hopefully the city of Warren will correct this.

The Pro is very helpful! The course is in better shape than it has been in the few years I’ve played it. The layout is pretty straight forward with tee boxes to fit anyone’s game! My experience during the beginning of this year (2020) has been brief but enjoyable! The greens are in good shape and SUPER receptive thanks to the thawing! I really believe it’s going to be a good year for the course! Winter rates are great too!!
