The weather is improving this weekend!  We hope to play our 2026 Chili Opener event set for Saturday February 28th.  The event is a 9-hole two-person scramble.  Tee times are from 10:00AM – 3:00PM.  Stop by or call the golf shop at (330)856-1063 to sign up your team.

Play 9 holes in our Two Person Scramble event on Saturday February 22nd.  Tee times are from 10:00AM – 3:00PM.  Each team will be paired with another team for scoring accuracy.  Enjoy homemade chili after your round in the clubhouse.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 5 team gross scores (based on 30 teams entered).  Eight team prizes were awarded in 2024.  Closest to the pin on par 3s will be awarded as well.  Cost is $25/player which includes 9 holes w/cart, chili with plenty of toppings, and prizes. Optional skins game for $5/player will be available.  Play an extra 9 holes after your event round for just $12 more per person.  Call the golf shop at (330)856-1063 to enter.

Our company, M2 Golf Management, has signed an extension for 5 more years with the city of Warren to operate the golf course.  Our agreement includes major improvements coming to the course starting this winter with new pumps for the irrigation system.  New control boxes and sprinkler heads will be installed next to enable us to water tees and fairways in the coming year.  Cart paths will be addressed in the spring.  Old Avalon keeps getting better and better!  Thank you to the city of Warren for your faith in our continued dedication to improving the golf course.
